These grim findings were discovered by CBT Nuggets, who conducted a research and swab typical items use in an office to determine which items harbour most bacteria. The result revealed that, overall, electronic ID badges was the dirtiest item, with 243 times bacteria than a germ filled pet toy.

Keyboards came second, followed by a computer mouse, trackpad and mobile phones - which had 162 times more bacteria than money.
